Quick drawings of some of the main characters in my upcoming story.
This was done for an assignment for writing children's literature.
Hopefully it'll appeal to the kids :O
From left to right: Liz (Yuri's best friend), Yuri (The protagonist) and Master Foo (Yuri's martial arts teacher)
Enjoy! :D

so this was for school or something?
Yuri as in yuri from KOF? hehe
Not a school. More like a course that I do over mail. I would post my assignment and get my assignment back with feedback.
Pretty cool course. I've been at this since the last 2 years or so.
Not bad for a $700 course. :P
Dude i like it already. :D Nice and simple designs, the master looks hilarious :D!!
Hey thanks Rag. The design is kinda like a prequel to the actual story I originally had. The master later gets a fro and becomes more hippie :P
By the way, your Steambun Samurai comics are looking great! :D
long time... fun characters. well done.
It's a minor point but martial arts uniforms don't look like that. The collar line should be descending from left shoulder to right not from right to left. This is true for any uniform I've ever seen (Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Judo). Though some Gis are just v-necks instead.
Also the entire top is one piece. So the line should extend all the way past the belt to the bottom. The Sensei for example has the collar line going under the armpit and then for no real reason there's a completely different separation in the fabric beneath his belt. That might be true in the V-neck style but not for the normal one.
Also people don't usually wear shoes when they're doing martial arts, with the exception of Kung Fu. But their costumes aren't chinese so I assume by the black collar you're doing TKD uniforms.
This is all very minor of course but the detail is still off. You seem to do a good job referencing clothes for your female characters so don't skimp out on reference for your cartoony characters. :D
hey!!!cool stuff!!!
Haha, last one is so funny, good job compadre!
